Located high in the mountains of central Idaho near McCall, Brundage Mountain Resort rightfully claims to have “The Best Snow in Idaho.” Opened in 1961, the resort is celebrated for its incredibly consistent snowfall, averaging over 320 inches of dry powder annually. Brundage offers 1,920 acres of lift-served skiable terrain with a 1,921-foot vertical drop. Beyond the lifts, the resort is famous for its massive 18,000-acre backcountry snowcat skiing operation, offering guided access to pristine, untouched powder bowls.

Terrain and Trails

Brundage is serviced by 6 lifts, including the high-speed Centennial Express. The mountain features 69 named trails characterized by exceptionally wide, rolling groomers and fantastic glade skiing. Beginners love the gentle slopes around the Easy Street lift, while intermediates flock to cruisers like Lakeview which offers stunning views of the Payette Lakes. Experts will find steep pitches and deep powder stashes in the Hidden Valley area, a notorious local favorite for gladed tree runs.
