Located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Cypress Mountain is a premier destination that famously hosted the freestyle skiing and snowboarding events during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Nestled in Cypress Provincial Park, the resort offers a 2,010-foot vertical drop and 600 acres of skiable terrain, providing spectacular views of the city skyline and the Pacific Ocean.

Terrain and Trails

Cypress Mountain spans across two mountains—Mt. Strachan and Black Mountain—and features 53 named trails serviced by 6 chairlifts, including the Lions Express quad. The terrain is divided into 22% beginner, 35% intermediate, and 43% advanced/expert. With extensive night skiing operations and some of the steepest continuous pitches in the North Shore Mountains, Cypress offers an unparalleled local riding experience.
