Just 21 miles west of Boulder, Colorado, Eldora Mountain is the ultimate local’s mountain, allowing front-range skiers to bypass the notorious I-70 traffic. Known for its laid-back vibe and rootsy Colorado character, Eldora is a powerhouse for regional skiing, boasting excellent snowmaking and high-elevation terrain that holds snow remarkably well throughout the season.
Eldora offers 680 acres of skiable terrain and a 1,400-foot vertical drop, reaching a top elevation of 10,600 feet. The mountain features 68 trails serviced by 10 lifts, including the Alpenglow high-speed six-person chair. The terrain is split into 20% beginner, 50% intermediate, and 30% advanced/expert. Beginners flock to the dedicated Little Hawk mountain, while experts tackle the steep, bumped-up pitches of the Corona Bowl. Eldora also features a world-class Nordic center.
Check the Alpenglow lift line and current visibility with our live Eldora webcams. Since the mountain is known for its notorious summit winds, keeping an eye on our real-time weather and temperature feeds is the best way to prepare for a successful day in Boulder’s backyard.
