About Grand Targhee

Located on the western slope of the Tetons in Wyoming, Grand Targhee Resort is legendary for its massive, uncrowded powder dumps, frequently receiving over 500 inches of light, dry snow annually. Nestled in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, it offers spectacular, unobstructed views of the Grand Teton. The resort’s laid-back, western vibe makes it a favorite destination for families and core skiers alike.

Terrain and Trails

Grand Targhee boasts 2,602 acres of skiable terrain with a vertical drop of 2,270 feet. The mountain is serviced by 6 lifts, including the Dreamcatcher and Colter high-speed quads. The trail system breaks down into 10% beginner, 70% intermediate, and 20% advanced terrain, offering endless, rolling groomers and world-class glade skiing. For the ultimate powder experience, Targhee also offers reserved snowcat skiing on Peaked Mountain, providing access to pristine, untracked powder.
