Located in Weston, Missouri, just a short drive from Kansas City, Snow Creek is a vital winter oasis for Midwest skiers and snowboarders. Opened in 1986 along the scenic bluffs of the Missouri River, this resort proves you don’t need towering alpine peaks to have a great time on the snow. Given the region’s fluctuating temperatures, Snow Creek boasts a powerful snowmaking system capable of covering 100% of its terrain, pumping over 3,000 gallons of water per minute to build a solid base.
Snow Creek offers a 300-foot vertical drop and features 12 trails spread across 40 skiable acres. The terrain is serviced by 5 lifts, including two triple chairlifts. It caters heavily to beginners and families, with a dedicated learning area and a popular snow tubing park called Tornado Alley. For those looking for more excitement, the mountain provides two terrain parks, Rattlesnake and The Rattle, filled with rails, jumps, and features that keep local freestyle riders coming back all season.
