About Sundance

Founded in 1969 by actor and director Robert Redford, Sundance Mountain Resort is a breathtaking, rustic retreat nestled on the majestic slopes of Mount Timpanogos in Utah. Unlike sprawling mega-resorts, Sundance focuses on artistic expression, environmental conservation, and a more intimate, soulful skiing experience. The resort exudes an understated elegance, seamlessly blending the natural beauty of the Wasatch Range with world-class hospitality.

Terrain and Trails

Sundance offers an uncrowded 500 skiable acres with a respectable 2,150-foot vertical drop. The terrain is serviced by 5 lifts, guiding skiers to 50 trails that cater to all abilities. Beginners can find comfortable learning terrain near the base, while advanced skiers head to the upper mountain to conquer the steep glades of Bishop’s Bowl and Bearclaw. The stunning panoramic views of the alpine cirques make every run an unforgettable visual experience.
