About Verbier 4Vallées

Verbier is the beating heart of Switzerland’s massive 4 Vallées ski area, the largest ski domain entirely within the country. Developed starting in the 1920s with its first lift installed in 1946, the resort exudes luxury and adventure, famously attracting royalty, celebrities, and hardcore freeriders alike. With its jaw-dropping views of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc, Verbier pairs a vibrant après-ski scene with some of the most challenging off-piste terrain in the world.

Terrain and Trails

Linked with Nendaz, Veysonnaz, and Thyon, the 4 Vallées offers over 250 miles (410 km) of marked runs and a staggering 8,267-foot vertical drop from the peak of Mont-Fort down to the valley floor in Le Châble. Serviced by over 80 lifts, Verbier is most famous for its extreme freeride routes, including the intimidating mogul fields of Tortin and the legendary Bec des Rosses, the notorious face that hosts the finals of the Freeride World Tour.
