About White Pass

Located in the spectacular Cascade Range of Washington, White Pass offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with big mountain terrain. Opened in 1955, it is famously known as the home mountain of Olympic twin gold and silver medalists Phil and Steve Mahre. Overlooking majestic Mt. Rainier, the resort provides some of the most stunning alpine views in the Pacific Northwest, backed by a healthy 350 inches of annual snowfall.

Terrain and Trails

White Pass features 1,402 acres of skiable terrain with a vertical drop of 2,050 feet, serviced by 8 lifts including two high-speed quads. The mountain’s trail network caters heavily to intermediate and advanced riders, with steep, plunging runs like Mach V and Execution challenging even seasoned experts. Meanwhile, the Paradise Basin expansion provides wide, rolling groomers and exceptional tree skiing for a more mellow but equally thrilling descent.
