Steeped in New England ski history, Wildcat Mountain is a legendary resort located in New Hampshire’s Pinkham Notch. With its first trails cut by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) back in 1933, Wildcat offers a rugged, classic East Coast skiing experience. Sitting directly across the valley from Mount Washington, it provides some of the most spectacular alpine scenery—and some of the most dramatic weather—in the Northeast.
Wildcat boasts a formidable 2,112-foot vertical drop across 225 skiable acres, serviced by 5 lifts including the high-speed Wildcat Express Quad that rockets skiers from base to summit in under seven minutes. The mountain is famous for Polecat, which holds the title of New Hampshire’s longest beginner trail at a winding 2.75 miles. For experts, the fall-line steepness of the Lynx trail offers a thigh-burning challenge that honors the mountain’s racing heritage.
Given its proximity to Mount Washington, the weather at Wildcat can be notoriously fierce. Our live webcams are essential tools to check the visibility and conditions before you hit the slopes. Always cross-reference the live video feeds with the real-time temperature and weather data above—if the wind is howling through Pinkham Notch, you’ll definitely want to pack an extra face mask!
